Military Ave. Church founded in 1902 in southwest Detroit stands as a witness for Jesus Christ in an economically depressed community. Military Ave. is surrounded by all the problems accompanying poverty - broken lives, bad systems, poor choices, all combine to create a tremendous challenge for the Church. TUTORING: We work with hundreds of children through the year. We tutor children in the Fall and Winter. We welcome Christians who want to be a light in a young persons life click on the picture above.

FOOD PROGRAM: We attempt to help families with food once a month at our Food Program. We need help to gather food and to help hand it out. Click on the image above to learn more.

VBS: We have a two and a half week VBS every year. During this time we share the Gospel with 100’s of children. Some groups come and stay with us for a week. Click on the picture above for more details.
