Three Weeks of Summer Fun at VBS

For over twenty five years we have taught and entertained up to 150 children daily at our VBS. Monday through Thursday for two and a half weeks. We begin at 11:00 signing up children and playing with them in the front and back yard of the church. At 12 Noon we enter our gym where we sing and hear the Bible story of the day. By 12:20 we split up into groups based upon gender and age. For the next couple of hours we eat lunch, play games, make crafts, and have a class time. by 2:45 we are back in the gym singing and offering a final prayer before we leave.

Who Comes to VBS

Neighborhood children ages 5 to 15 boys and girls. Plus we have volunteers who have come from as near as Trenton MI and as far away as Winnipeg MB. Some groups drive in and leave when the day is done, while others come and stay in our facility. We have accommodated as many as 100 short term missionaries.

  We always need help with this outreach (our staff consists of 1 full time person and three very part time).  If you or a group from your church wish to help please contact us by email or phone and let us know you are interested. Most of our groups begin planning early in the year but we always seem to have needs during this program. Think about whether you group wants to stay or drive in, whether you want to come for a day or a week, and how many people you have with you.
